In John McCain's acceptance speech, he stated that he had finally learned to
care about other people's welfare as a result of being imprisoned in the
Hanoi Hilton. Yet, after he was released and had returned to the United
States, he callously abandoned his first wife, Carol, who desperately needed
his help.
When McCain first married Carol, she was tall, willowy and beautiful - very
much the beauty pageant type. They appeared to be in love and McCain
adopted her two sons from a previous marriage. Shortly after she bore him a
daughter, McCain volunteered for combat duty in Viet Nam.
We know the rest of that story, because McCain has recited every painful
detail of his imprisonment, over and over again. What many people don't
know about is that Carol McCain was also in limbo for those six long years
of his imprisonment. By all accounts, she was a good, faithful wife who was
forced to rear his children on her own while they waited for his release.

I have begun a group for people wanting to constructively deal with
misogyny, following sentiments of that ilk in me having becoming
quite
prevalent. I'm not a bad person but I have ended up with this anger
and anxiety which I'd like to deal with. this si not to say that
there aren't bad and abusive women or that my feelings aren't
legitimate, but I don't want ot succumb to them.
I know some people will try to spoil this forum with nonsense but I
will try and flush that out. The hope is that a live group meeting in
London - though other members will be able to start chapters where
they live - will be enabled by discussion in this group.
the group is called Anti-
misogyny UK , which does sound a bit naff I admit; I don't own any
Billy
Bragg or Chumbawamba records. As it's an
over-18 and most likely over-21 group all kinds of talk should
feature, including conscientious admissions about regretted behaviour
and the misogynist content of imagination. I'm imagining that people
using the group will explain their situation and that somehow - note
the diffidence and doubt; no room for block capitals and ranting ...

Theophiles as lovers of gods do an awful lot of hating- largely
through mass ignorance of evolutionary reality and bucket loads of
monotheistic prejudice against any worldview other than their own.
Plutocrats as lovers of wealth are the chief peddlers and consumers of
theophilia but of late have found a much more useful ally in feminism
If the masses cannot think other than in the theophile terms given to
them by pretentious masters, they are effective isolated from secular
reality- the real world that exists.
Political power doesn't materialize in a vacuum. It must be gained by
a force of will that overcomes any opposition based on past myth.
Reactionaries naturally seek to maintain and renew these myths and
build new ones when the opportunities arise.

Pölyttäjiä ei ole liikkeellä. Sään lämpeneminenkään ei lupaa helpotusta,
sillä luonnonvaraisten pölyttäjien kannat ovat romahtaneet lähes
OLEMATTOMIIN! vaarassa ovat myös metsämarjat, sielä esim. mustikan, puolukan
ja vadelman pölytys on lähes yksinomaan kimalaisten varassa.
Mehiläistenhoidonneuvoja Ari Seppälä on kartoittanut pölyttäjien tilannetta
koko Suomessa. Uutiset ovat olleet yksinomaan HUONOJA! -arvioisin, että
kimalaisia ja ampiaisia on nyt korkeintaan KYMMENESOSA normaalista tasosta.
Tutulla omenanviljelijällä on tarhassaan tuhat kukivaa puuta. Hän ei ole
nähnyt tänä keväänä ensimmäistäkään kimalaista. Kimalaiset ja ampiaiset
katosivat yllättäen Suomesta viime kesämä. Syytä katoon ei tiedetä. Seppälä
ei usko tilanteen korjaantuvan edes seuraavana kesänä!"
