The Manager, Regional Sales is responsible for supervising Sales Representatives within their assigned region and achieving sales objectives for that region. This includes: a) setting individual territory sales quotas; b) hiring and training new Sales Representatives with the Sales Director; c) reporting market conditions; d) working with individual Sales Representatives in their sales territory on a regular basis; e) reviewing individual Sales Representatives sales performance; f) maintaining logical and equitable sales territory boundaries within the region; g) developing and promoting qualified individuals for further company responsibilities; h) promoting corporate client sales and U.S.A. marketing direction to field Sales Representatives; and i) effective staffing of organization, including hires and dismissal of employees when needed. Requirements EDUCATION: . Bachelors Degree or greater from accredited university.<br><br>EXPERIENCE: .Five (5) years of medical sales/marketing experience with at least three (3) years of Covidien sales experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY: .Knowledge of the U.S.A. electrosurgery markets and Energy-based Devices products competing in these markets. .Skill and ability to analyze regional and territory sales potential and make appropriate territory and/or personnel adjustments to maximize sales objectives. .Knowledge of procedures for targeted LigaSure surgical specialists. .Ability to manage the regional sales expense budget. .Knowledge, skill and ability to lead and coach others to meet or exceed annual sales objectives. .Effective verbal and written communication skills to meet department objectives. .Effective organizational and motivational skills necessary to perform related duties. In this role, you will have responsibility for establishing and maintaining customer relationships while growing market share in a competitive marketplace. The Sales Representative we are seeking understands the needs and preferences of the customer while leveraging their influencing skills to aggressively expand product market share. Key Responsibilities: . In a team environment, sell pharmaceutical products to specific customer market in a protected territory. . Develop local business plan to increase market share by outlining tactics, activities and resources. . Utilize customer-focused selling techniques to maintain high customer intimacy and customer knowledge of GSK products. . Develop and deliver informative sales presentations based on customer needs. Knowledgeable and selling with integrity. . Enforce and follow Commercial Policies and Practices in your daily activities while promoting our products with integrity in the marketplace. . Develop creative sales strategies to reach "hard-to-see" doctors/"hard-to-work" accounts. . Actively seek and display a thorough knowledge of GSK pharmaceutical products, key customers in territory, competitor products and product objectives. . Work collectively with other representatives in arranging speakers, displays and special programs. . Maintain current, approved protocol and promotional materials to be included in sales presentations. . As assigned, make calls on retail pharmacies and other special customers.
