I just hate being so far from my family at times like this.
My cousin is like my sister to me, all we did growing up together was
laugh! It was something she was told not to do too much of because she
was born w/heart problems & has had several surgeries. She just found
out she needed mitral valve replacement surg. night b4 last & I'm glad
we laughed so much when I called cuz after 6+hrs of surgery something
went wrong. She was recovering & then her bp dropped out & her
enlarged heart stopped but they got her back. They had to re-open her
& it happened again & now the latest is that her heart is working but
her brain has swelled & they don't know why. I'm glad she's not
conscious w/all that.
I've just been crying all day & am waiting for news & have my candles
goin' & jump every time the phone rings. I don't know if I'm gonna hop
a plane yet or not ...my mom is already stressing & I told her I'd be
there to help her, not the opposite but she's saying "but you're in
flare & I'd have to take care of you too...". I hate this.
Anyway, I just needed to blurt. ty (((FMly))).

There is never a good time for sickness in a loved one but this time of the
year is stressful enough without the worry you are going through right
now...Hope you get good news soon...
