I never did get far into exactly what happened, but it sure did change
the landscape at a.r.w. and really fast, from what I could tell.
Leave it for the archives and some future scholars to explain, I say.
With Rhy's energy and charisma, I can't see her not returning sometime
with a big STFU & her digital finger trademark... never is a usenet
asswhuppin so graceful as when dished out by the Cast Iron Bitch...

Not great stuff does have a way of butting in to good times... they're
best kept a distance from until the last minute, in my opinion...

Quite an honor, really... I didn't know it was your sig, but thanks,
feel free to use it here on Usenet, also, newsreader permitting.

Heh... it'll help if I actually /go there/ more often, rather than
crossposting from afar and waiting for y'all to come to me... heh.

For the first 50 or so years, my mother's was May 4th, then she had to
have some paperwork with birth certificate stuff, went to LaGrange to
get a copy and found out when the courthouse there burned in the 1950s
or sometime like that all those records were lost, and the doctor had
put her down for April 28th. Everybody knows my grandmother had it
right, but its pretty cool that she has two birthdays, which makes it
that much easier to celebrate the whole week... hell, the entire
season, really... my grandson's is the 14th... Cousin Jenny, Uncle
Fred, Fawn, this list of important Ts seems endless...

DIRTY SONG
Lyrics:Bertolt Brecht
Music:Bertolt Brecht
If a womans hips are ample
Then I want her in the hay
Skirt and stocking all a rample
Cheerfully
For that's my way
If the woman bites in pleasure
Then I wipe it clean with hay
My mouth, her lap together
Not really
For that's my way
If a woman goes on loving
When I feel to tired to play
I'd smile and go off waving,
I'm leaving For that's my way

Thanks, I mostly tend to let 'em pass without much notice, these
days... I enjoy celebrating other peoples' more, for whatever reason.
Tonight's Wena's, which will center around some beer and food at
Barfield's swimming pool, as I wrote up there, a double, combining
Brother Dave's party, as well.
Barfield's art, if you haven't seen any, pretty magickal stuff:

We thought we'd have an old sailboat well enough restored by now, but
as you wrote, life keeps getting in the way.

This town's going back into that "everything's closed" phase for the
first time in a couple of decades, as far as anything but potato chip-
beer type items, all the in-town grocery-type stores suddenly began
closing at midnight, even Wal-Mart, except for the one on the far
northside and over in Alabama, so its either plan ahead for later or
wind up sitting in Waffle House, Krystal or Denny's... all
depressingly non-smoking... hard to plan ahead for unexpected munchies
of an advanced kind like cakes and whatnot.
As long as the essentials are there, cigarettes and coffee, I can hold
out here in the compound.
