A moderate earthquake rattled Los Angeles County early Thursday,
leading officials to close a six-lane bridge as a precaution after a
routine post-quake inspection found minor cracks.
Read all about it. A earthquake closed bridges in LA, and a tornado
knocked out homes & power in New York City, causing traffic to stop,
and the subways to shutdown. Maybe you think this doesn't effect you,
but your lucky if you have air conditioning with this heat wave!

The magnitude 4.5 temblor struck just before 1 a.m. about 4 miles
northwest of Chatsworth, according to a preliminary report from the
U.S. Geological Survey.
Three aftershocks were recorded ranging from magnitude 1.6 to
magnitude 1.8.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
