I've been thinking about this a lot lately. The division between the
rich, and the poor is becoming larger and larger. When I was a kid
growing up there used to be a "middle class". It doesn't feel like we
even have one of those anymore. You are either so wealthy you can
enjoy leasure, and fantastic vacation time, or you live like pretty
much everyone else. I know a whole lot of people who are jealous of
me because I'm on dissabillity. They have to go to work every day,
for what? So they can come home and watch CNN? Maybe drink a beer?
Television and movies are so bad these days that we don't have
anything to keep ourselves entertained. Then the economy is becoming
so bad with gas prices, and the mortages, plus these enormous taxes,
there just isn't any money to spend.
But in every community there is the very rich. The people who are
working in politics or who own the buisnesses. Where I live things
have just gone completely down the tubes. We have lost so many jobs...
