I'm a UGLE Freemason and, after about 30 years of reading about
Crowleyanity, I am seriously thinking of joining the OTO.
It is possible that UGLE might not like that if I did. Are there any
others out there in a similar situation?

Well, the U.S. Grand lodge of the F and AM doesn't seem to have any
problem with it and they're technicaly under UGLE supervision as I
understand it. In any case, we've got LOTS of regular Masons in the
various Order bodies I've been associated with over the last few years.

It varies by Grand Lodge jurisdiction. While igd is wrong about a US
Grand Lodge of AF&AM (there is no such critter, as each state is a
sovereign Grand Lodge) most United States GLs do not have problems
with OTO, as while its Masonic DNA is certainly visible, OTO does not
claim to make Master Masons.
I have brothers in OTO who are Masters or Past Masters of their
regular Masonic lodges.
If you are actually in the UK, you would of course need to direct your
question to the appropriate UGL.
