I am sorry you spent all day at a doctor's appointment. I only spent one
hour at the doctor on Tuesday and it was a wonderful hour. I have a very
competent and skilled doctor and I am very fortunate. I know that time
heals all wounds. I enjoy wonderful relationships with my family of
origin now and we all lived through a lot of chaos and dysfunction. I am
now beginning to see I probably was depressed since I was a teenager
since I was suicidal at the time and in counseling for that reason among
others. I don't know why my therapists never thought of that. I was
never diagnosed with depression as a youth, only adolescent identity
disorder or adjustment disorder or something like that. I had two
different therapists as a teenager. I wanted to be in therapy so I
worked so I could pay for my own therapy. That is what my father made me
do, so I did it. I remember my first therapist had a sand table with
these wonderful fantasy figures in them and I had such a good time
playing with them. I really looked forward to those sessions. And here I
am, once again, working on my first piece of art to market to the
community and it is the style of fantasy! My friend who crocheted a pink
shawl with a yellow flower on it for my daughter said I could make my
drawing into a tattoo and a cross stitch design. I told her how you said
this fairy wouldn't be good as a tattoo. I guess I should show you my
sketch I did today.
Love,
Olympiada
