This is No Dream

I was walking home and the streets were dark. There was a police
officer under a bright street light. A black cat with glowing golden
eyes crossed in front of me and stopped to stare at me.

The after image of the bright street light created a black fuzzy
shadowy form from the black cat -- and that form took human shape.

The form came toward me. I looked at the cop. There was something like
disbelief in his eyes. But he was in a trance, unable to say anything.
I turned toward home and the cat went on its way.

There was a warmth above my heart. The human shadow looked through my
eyes. I knew that my spirit friend had returned from a completed
favor.

We were not speaking any known language to each other. There was
complete understanding.

Earlier, I saw a woman that looks like Aine. Her lost twin. The woman
smiled at me and knowingly looked at me. But it wasn't Aine. I thought
of Aine. Then I understood that this woman was just temporarily
occupied by Aine. Aine is a wild woman. She may not express what she
does perfectly, but she does do it. She has the ability.

It must be the golden eyes theme that I've been following.
