FYI -
The Prophetic Light 2008
Here is what many are asking of my vision and analysis of our
immediate future:
1. Who will be elected in this world as the next leader of America in
2008?
The answer to this is not an easy one to define although it can now be
clearly understood from the perspective of a certainty rather than a
mere probability.
Today's Republican Senator John McCain of Arizona will be elected as
President of the Untied States of America in 2008. His office of
administration will consist of a single term ending in 2012.
A Highly Probable Future

>>A Highly Probable Future
There will be in his time three wars, seven important deaths, two
major natural disasters, floods, record heat waves, power failure, a
drought killing cattle, dust storms, pestilence, forest fires,
eukaryotic cell mutations, crop failures, widespread bankruptcy,
recession, viral infections, disease, major tornadoes, and fear
leading to an unexpected success (blue rose data), and eight major
catastrophic mechanical situations that seem to involve a public form
of transportation. There is seen a park accident, noise and smoke from
the ground, and earth quakes in both the expected and unexpected
place.
<<
And, precisely HOW does this diffar from THE LAST FOUR YEARS. Oh wait, I
don't remembar any Blue Roses. Heh, maybe you are ON to something.
Or just ON SOMETHING.
Give me the winning numbars for the next Megamillians, guaranteed, and maybe
I'll believe you can tell the futchar.

You kooks should really learn that your credibility is greatly diminished
when you STEAL concepts from popular fiction.
There are people all over Usenet who have read Peter Straub.

Sounds like the plot to my favorite kid's movie, The Thief Of Baghdad
(1960), starring Steve Reeves. What an ironic title, these days. The
plot? Aimed at the youngsters, this typical Italian fantasy-adventure
stars Steve Reeves as Karim, the thief of the title. Karim is not only
the strongest, fastest, and smartest of thieves, he also has a magic
ring and a cape that makes him invisible. Thus armed, he is well-
prepared to face a series of Herculean tests in order to win the hand
of the Sultan's beautiful daughter Anima (Georgia Moll). These "tests"
purify his past wrongdoings and ultimately lead to a blue rose, the
key to winning Anima in marriage.

I have kidnapped "bob".
I am holding Him for forced labor, picking pecans.
Ransom will be discussed later.
This is no joke.
If you think I'm lying just try to disprove it.

Heh. Did you ever read "The Ransom of Red Chief"?
"It looked like a good thing: but wait till I tell you. We were down South,
in Alabama
-- Bill Driscoll and myself -- when this kidnapping idea struck
us. It was, as Bill afterward expressed it, 'during a moment of temporary
mental apparition'; but we didn't find that out till later."

Are you kidding? That was probably my first actual encounter with what
would later become a chunk of the SubG mythos. It accurately describes
the majority of the Sub-laity.

Do not read this if you have children. You will recognize them in the
protagonist and smother them in their sleep.
