The New Testament is a great book, becomes it seems to endorses
wonderful philosophy built on the Jewish earth wisdom, of the volcano,
geology and mining. But the problem with the book is Revelations.
When I first was exposed to the bible I instinctivly flipped to the end
of the book and read revelations and was turned off by the whole
experience. At least at first.
They should not have let an exiled prisoner write a book of the bible
and put it at the end. They needed to actually put his vision into
context, and realize that revelations has already come to pass. And
just explain the history of the early church. If they did that then
perhaps people everywhere would take the bible seriously. Because it
is a very good religion, and philosophy.

It is very clear that you have never read the book, know nothing about
it, and need to do some homework before you spout off about stuff you
are completely ignorant about.
I the rest of your post since it reflected a total ignorance
of the book you were writing about.
You really shouldn't try to post things about stuff you have no
knowledge of, Corey. It only makes you look bad.

Most action-packed part of the Bible of all. Lots of cool monsters and
disasters, and The Whore of Babylon always looks hot in the
evangelical illustrations of her riding The Second Beast in a sexy High
Priestess robe, holding a big sloshing wine glass. The Jehovah's
Witness versions are usually somewhat toned down compared to the
Pentacostalist artwork of her. The Pentacostals let you see lots of leg
and bosom.

P.S.

It's like really badly written science fiction, doesn't make much sense, not
internally logical, somebody made it up as they went along.

In my Papal Edition Bible, it's "The Apocalypse of St John" or
something like that. WAAAY cooler than Revelation, or the book of.

They stole the entire idea for the apocalypse from J.R. "Bob" Dobbs in
his "Book of the Subgenius"
lucky for those bible people "Bob" has a good sense of humor!
