Hello, Microprosopus.
Why in the SW England only? Surely with the internet you can talk to
people all over. Why would they need physical contact?
For instance, we could have a chat about gematria. I've heard that
it's a way for converting letters to numbers so different words can be
compared and links found, to overcome flaws in one's perceptions. Why
do you think that this could be useful?
I'm having a bit of trouble with my ISP so please be patient for my
replies.

Sorry for any misunderstanding. I refer to what happens in the
tradition I teach, rather than to Gematria specifically, which as
you'll know is just one of many meditation techniques in Jewish
mysticism.
Hermetic Kabbalah, which has emerged out of Jewish mysticism as well
as neo-platonism, gnosticism, alchemy etc. has its own tradition going
back several centuries. It can involve meditations, rituals, making
physical objects etc. Although there are introductory correspondence
courses and books for self-initiation out there, I only teach face to
face because I think it suits the nature of the work, like piano or
karate lessons.
Hope this explains things ;)
