Teenager killed father with sword

He was studying for A-levels at Ystrad Mynach college and, in the run
up to his father's death, had been spending a considerable amount of
time on the internet.

Michael Mather-Lees, prosecuting, said: "He appeared to be interested
in demonology and his room was decorated with dark oriental themes.

"It is pretty clear from the evidence that he was suffering from deep
delusional views."

Mr Mather-Lees said Morgan was suffering from paranoid schizophrenia
and appeared to be "under the thrall of a shade or demon who would
tell him what to do".
