Morning:

Well, been having more cogs about the truth of my own
existence. Not saying that this has anything to do with you, but
it might.

We all have done bad things that we regret. Or did at some
point anyway, before scientology. And since the thetan is quite a
complex fellow, it is no big deal to "split" off part of
yourself, and isolate that part of you that is "bad". Presto!
No more overts. Of course you are less than you were before (or
so he thinks, which makes it true). And this "good" part goes
along, and inevitably gets another overt, regret, split, overts,
split, on and on.

I always wondered why we would be so hard on ourselves, when
we were not so hard on others. Guy comes up, calls you a jerk,
you most likely think perhaps he had a bad day or something, and
let it go. But you. Man if you make a mistake, out comes the
whips and hot oil, and you punish yourself but good for it.

This did not make any sense to me. Why should we give others
a break, when we would not to ourselves.. No sense at all, but
it appeared to be "true" because observably, everyone did that.
Me included.

So now I think I see why. This is some old harmonic of
"splitting" off the evil side of ourselves, to abandon
responsibility. Of course, we cant postulate anymore, or
anything like that, so it just winds up in blame, and going down
tone. Out ruds on self, basically.

Now it may be a bit hard to conceive of splitting oneself.
But look at it this way. You been a hoss thief, and the good ol
boys gonna hang you. Heh. So you copy yourself, let them hang
the copy, and you get away free. Heh. Seems pretty workable on
the surface of it. But somehow you never forget you abandoned
yourself to be hung, and the 'hungee' never really forgives you
for abandoning yourself to swing on a rope. Sounds complicated,
but not really.

Anyway, for me the truth of the matter is that I have
abandoned parts of myself that were "bad", over and over. And
now, I am seeing that, and taking responsibility for that. Just
being me, you see, and the "bad" side now has a chance to get
case gain as well, for we have scientology.

Now realize this. If you abandon part of yourself, all the
bridge in the world on the "good" part left is not going to do
the "bad you" any good at all. What is worse, even if you make
it to OT 48 billion and 3, the "bad" side of you is going to
fight you jealously all the way. Lol.

So give the "bad you" a break. Let there be gain.
