I'm curious. What's a rabid materialist such as yourself doing in
alt.magick? Is magick about mechanisms these days? Goodness.
Mechanisms are so egalitarian, anybody with a few bucks can buy one,
the more bucks you have the nicer the mechanism. I guess I'm silly
too, in addition to curious, I think mechanisms are nearly the polar
opposite of magick. Or maybe alt.magick is about sleight-of-hand and
card tricks and has nothing to do with actual magic. Maybe everyone
in alt.magick knows that actual magic is just sufficiently advanced
technology. What's up? Are you a troll in the context of alt.magick?
Has your trollery spilled over into alt.philosophy.taoism then? Why
are you in alt.philosophy.taoism anyway? We're boring there, it isn't
worth your mechanical time to pollute the place. Some of the other
philosophy groups are filled with mechanical types, Kantists and
anti-Kantists and who knows what-all. You and they could take turns
whacking each other with your verbiage sticks and have a swell time.
Or maybe you're getting ready to pull a rabbit out of your ass and
surprise everybody, that'll be swell. Curiosity is such an
anti-survival mechanism, gotta love that, so much less effort than
straight-up suicide and you get to watch the show on top of it all.
