Quite.

Quite.

We actually only see change and boundaries (edges).
Colour is some fancy schmancy survival tool, but is not essential.
There are way cool optical illusions that demonstrate this.
A fixation point between two gradual changes of colour.
If you focus, the coloured bits dissapear.
But this primarily focussing on change is far stronger than only vision.
It is tied to attention.
The magician gets away with hir tricks cos there is a limited amount of
attention.
(a usefull thing to know when in pain, overload the senses by sticking your
nail into your skin)
This is also somewhat of a bilateral process.
The right part of the brain (usually) makes a holistic image.
The left part of the brain (usually) focusses on details.
Now what bit of that written above (random thoughts) reminds you of what bit
from kabalah ?
(your choice which version of qbl to pick)
