"National Treasure" or "The Pearl of Great Price"

I was watching this evening the Disney film, "National Treasure" -
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0368891/

and I was reminded of a parable in the Bible of a merchant who found
a pearl of great price. So valuable

was it that he sold all that he had to obtain it. Jesus teaches in
this parable that there is something worth more than all the gold,
land, resources

nations war and fight for on earth. The Bible gives us a clues to
what this treasure is -which is more valuable than the Masonic
National Treasure depicted

in the movie. Please take the time to read the following words of
Christ and his followers and search the Bible and you may with God's

help find what Jesus promises to all who will ask and seek.

"The kingdom of Heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly
pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and
sold all that he had, and bought it." Matthew 13:45-46

[44] Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a
field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof
goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

Jesus was nothing more than a man. God isn't real. Why are you posting
your religious tripe here?

What an understatement about humans on this Earth.

Most certainly the anthropomorphized version you (plural)
insist is the only version that can/must be considered.

Uh, freedom to post in an unmoderated forum?

An understatement about yourself (plural)? That defies logic.

The initial post is obviously intent to reference to the Biblical God. Of
course, I (singular) don't believe in ANY sort of God or Gods.

Who is the you (plural) you are referring to? Are you one of those
despicable pentecostal demon-channeling nutjobs trying to preach to the
masses?

Don't knowingly post your religious tripe in a forum where people will
obviously be revulsed by your beliefs. Don't harass 'enemy' newsgroups.

Human potential is as of yet, not completely analyzed, hence a
place such as alt.magick. (Heh.)

Just by using the word God, you are limiting your own
conceptualizations. Try using the word "Entity".
> Who is the you (plural) you are referring to?

Folks such as yourself that remain stuck with ancient ideas about
the *HUGE* living field within which we exist.

How much logic can YOU handle?
Which kind of logic? Tautological based on what YOU know so far?

Sounds like somebody has a chip on their shoulder. It's a common
complaint, doesn't mean you're not fucked though. Maybe not. Nobody
knows.
