Curiously enough, many people who win those jackpots end up in worse straits
than they were in before they won. If you're a fool without money, having
money won't cure you of it.

But you can be unhappy in comfort.

People don't need all that much to be comfortable. When people have
thier basic needs met then they don't get any happier in accumulating
more stuff, bigger cars, etc. etc. They just think they will. I used
to think it would be really cool to have a pool, and now I have one it
looks pretty, and the lizards cool thier tails in it on hot days, but
you know what? I haven't swum in it once!

Magick for material gain never works, because the universe gives you
what you need and not what you want, would prefer, or what you think
will make you happy or comfortable. Just don't ask me why I have a
pool. :)

If you are unhappy, you are uncomfortable. Unhappiness is suffering.
Suffering is, by definition, uncomfortable.

However, lots of those so-called "winners" were completely broke inside a
year or so. Wisely did old Aesop observe that a fool and his money are soon
parted.
