after a recent divorce, from a man who hated the fact that i was
wiccan, i have lost everything precious to me that i had collected
over the years. Books, stones, candles, and especially 7 decks of
tarot cards. I am hoping the goddess will see to it that the right
person gets to read this post. I am now living in a small town of
unfriendly people, who think Tarot cards are the work of "the devil".
Does anyone have a deck of tarot cards they don't use or like that
they would be willing to part with????? I would be more grateful than
you could ever imagine......if I could afford it, of course I would go
out and purchase my own, but at this time, i can't. I'm feeling lost
and alone with no guidance. Luna

Use an ordinary deck of playing cards for the minor arcana You should
be able to buy a deck for less than a dollar, or pound, or euro etc.

We don't usually get beggars in alt.magick. Lots of nutbags, of course, but
hardly any beggars.
You are mistaken if you think tarot cards will change how you feel. Feeling
lost and alone with no guidance can be taken for granted for a person in
your position. It's part of how you feel when you get divorced, especially
if you were used to playing a passive role. That relationship is over. Now
is the time to stop playing the passive role. Do you remember how to play
the active role? If not, let us know and we'll all give you some pointers.
So remember:

I'm a little surprised that you had enough in common, with
shared interests, knew each other enough, to marry him
in the first place, if he hated wicca.
Life is very polarised, some hate the occult, some
see it as the devil's work.
One political persuasion hates the other.
One religion hates another.
One race hates enother.
Only consolutation is you can choose your
friends and partners, but not your relatives.
Just move on, build a new and better outcome.
