Thank you very much for your input, Mika. You make a lot of good
points. Kraig's Modern Magick has some good stuff about getting
familiar with the elements, and some day I'd like to work up to doing
the exercises in Bardon's Initiation to Hermetics which also are
founded upon elemental work. My trouble is focus and being able to
endure until the end.

Bah. Why concern yourself with 'enduring until the end'? All you
need to deal with is the present.

Hmmm, I like the way these words resonate. In this light, I found it
very interesting that at my local Borders bookstore Stephen Covey,
self help guru extraordinaire, has his books in the metaphysical
section as well. His books are definitely practical exercises for
living in the present at one's peak level. One need not be concerned
about anything else as you and your circle peak to perfection. Heh.

If you're concerned with perfection you're not living in the present
either.
