So larry craig has resigned after pleading guilty to gay sex charges
in an airport bathroom. I don't know what the laws are in Idaho, but
where I live people are allowed to be gay even in bathrooms. They say
he was soliciting prostitution from an undercover agent, but no money
was exchanged or even words. Apparently all that happened was Mr.
Craig tapped his foot in his stall, and the officer took this as some
kind of gay code that he wanted sex. Then he arrested the Senator for
soliciting. What kind of system is this? I guess in the airport you
just have to be really careful about your body language. Reach down
into your shirt, or grab at your pants, and security will knock you to
the floor and acuse you of insiting a panic and threating to pull a
gun out. I don't think gay code is...

If you watched Keith Olberman he had a re-enactment of the encounter.

Ooops...someone forgot to tell that to the many women who have
been raped in a public bathroom.

In the US of A a number of public areas are frequeneted
by gay men looking for sex. There is nothing wrong
with being gay, it's the use of public areas for the
purpose that is illegal.

For example around here alot of rest stops on the highway are shut
down because gay men used them for sex.

Just wondering, who's version of the story was re-enacted?
> Which is a signal used....they tap their foot three times.

Holy crap... I didn't know that. I don't normally tap my feet when I'm
in the restroom, when I do it's a heck of a lot more times then 3... I'm
going to have to make sure when I tap my foot, it has to be at least 4.

Still wondering... Do you by chance know if the people who filed those
complaints could identify the Senator in a lineup to make sure they got
the right man?

I think the entire story is funny as heck. More Senators need to be
arrested... I know the government rapes my paycheck every 2 weeks,
bastards...

There are charges that Senator Craig was doing this back in the early
80s. Also a number of men have come forward to say they
had sexual encounters with this senator.
