usually twice - a day. I've asked you guys some questions about the
ritual a few weeks ago, if you recall. As I said before, this time I
can really tell a difference in my psyche and that it's helped me with
quitting some bad habits, etc. But now I've noticed something else
that may or may not be related to my consistent working of the
ritual...

There's a really nice international Theravada temple in the northeast
province of Thailand, Ubon Ratchathani, called Wat Pah Nanachat.
Anyone from any country can apply to be a monk there.

No, what *you're* talking about is religious belief. I'm talking about the
way things quite observeably and demonstrably are.

*Your* declaration that karma is a "storehouse" for all the bad or good
consequences of past lives is *your* religious belief.

Thanks, Mika, for your very thoughtful reply. And my apologies for
addressing everyone as "you guys" if that offended you. ;-)
You're right - I do tend to see things and forces in my life as
positive and negative, but I can see where you're coming from. And
it's true that I do tend to take things personally that I probably
shouldn't. Perhaps, as you say, this is a lesson for me to just be
more accepting of things as they are and not read so much in to stuff.
It's definitely been a growing experience, because it's evoked some
anger responses that I haven't really dealt with in a long time.
Shit just happens, I guess.
