Have you considered the possibility that the strength that you attribute
to God is there simply because you attribute it? In your head you think
it's a power struggle between God and Satan, when in actuality it's a
soap opera of your own creation. It's no different to my tooth fairy and
tooth fairy pinata.
I think it's simpler to dismiss your ideas of God and Satan, and realise
that thoughts, regardless of where you think they're from, don't
inherently have power over you. You give them the power.
You consider the power of God to take the power out of your Satanic
thoughts, when really "God's power" isn't necessary. You already have
the power to see your Satanic thoughts for what they are: they're just
thoughts in your head. By considering God's power to be necessary to
overcome Satanic thoughts, you're actually empowering such thoughts,
since you consider something special to be required to overcome them. If
you realise that nothing special is required, then you could overcome
them permanently.
