"hate holywood magic, especially in the movies. I hate Harry Potter,"
When some regulars to these newsgroups started ranting and raving about
Harry Potter, I too was upset about it. I read the first book and it
wasn't very well written. But after the hysteria died down I decided to
read all the books through and the author actually gets better. The
ideas aren't original but still they are entertaining books. And they
are fiction. The author does explore the possibilities of living in a
world of magic. In the 5th book it seems that the author's research
into the possibility of real magick is creating some interesting
twists.
"and White Wolf games studios "Mage: The Awakening" I just bought the
new rule book for Mage, and it sux. The inside cover basicly admits to
borrowing the new game from Harry Potter, and they ruined the fun of
the old game. They just updated it with a great publishing company,
and made a cool hardback book with a great cover, and a fancy graphics
layout on the inside. But I hate the game, because I hate the"
