[Top-posting to avoid having to get into stuff like Jack
Sarfatti and Ken Kesey's Merry Pranksters.....in these
bad times, I'm not handling nostalgia well.]

Your sources are, to say the least, of dubious reliability.

Dave Reitzes and John McAdams are notorious propagandizers
for the Lone Nut theory in the JFK assassination. Anything coming
from their sites should be treated with extreme distrust.

On the other side of the coin, the Benson "Who's Who" is of
of no value, as shown, just for one example, by his quoting
the hoax "Torbitt Document" as a source.

Not to say that Gordon Novel was not a character, and most
definitely was partly (but *what* part?) the player he sometimes
claimed to be.

The interesting thing about Novel was that he encouraged people
to think of him as a player, but when they started pinning actual
connections to the JFK plot on him, he blew up (such as the
time he called Dave Emery's radio show -- one of the great
moments in alternative broadcasting.)
