Oh, for fuck's sake, here we go again.
If aspies were able to function just as well as neurotypicals in every given
situation, *they wouldn't be aspies.* There would not be such a thing as
"Asperger syndrome".
You play the aspie card every time you want to brag about your l33t a5pie
skillz, when you want to be Special and Unique.
But when it comes to the *downsides* of being an aspie, you stick your
fingers to your ears, shut your eyes real tight, and babble about
"superiority motivated NT psychobabble."
I have been threatened with a visible weapon as well. You're not special in
this matter.
A nutcase pulled a swiss army knife on me at a bus stop, demanding to know
what "we" were up to. She claimed she knew I was working for the FBI. (And
this happened in Finland...)
But I used my Secret Neurotypical Techniques (that we're taught in a
Himalayan monastary), and I was able to see the situation as it really was:
she was not even considering stabbing me. She just wanted to intimidate me.
I was never in any real danger.
And if you really are as good as any neurotypical in judging the motivations
and intentions of people, then why the fuck did you freak out when I told
Quintal to go kill himself?
