Dreaming my eyes wide open!

I've done it!! Or I should rather say, that we have done it! I had
ritually wrapped a rubber band around a shiny half dollar, and sat
there defocusing my eyes, with my hand floating over the coin. I've
been trying to get it to move. Finally I hear this voice, from
outside the invisible glass in this zoo I live in. A quiet whisper,
"You should help him".. And then a light comes flying across my bed
into the room. Out of the peripheral of my vision I said hello to
her, and she unfolded into a beautiful woman in a white dress, but I
could only just imagine her in such detail, and didn't dare directly
look at her.

Then the coin started to move.. At first it felt just like my
imagination, I could see it move, like the way you see optical
illusions move. It just didn't seem to change position on my bed at
all. I kept at it for a few minuets, and eventually it almost looked
like it was made of quick silver. I focused my imagination on the
part of my vision that was telling my brain that the coin was in the
same spot on the bed.. And then finally I saw the coin move, and this
time it changed positions on the bed, it was as if the coin was moving
in one direction, and the bed was moving in the opposite direction.
