Everyone can explain. The trouble is, you'll only believe the explanations
that thrill you most.

For instance, you won't believe the explanation that you were overtired and
misperceiving the whole thing. Or that there was a light on in the bedroom
but somebody switched it off or it burned out.

No, you'll be wanting some sort of eerie explanation that will give you a
deliciously spooky feeling.
