Right on the first try!

Mikey is one of "those" people... too much Alex Jones and too little actual
literature.

He makes up these stupid connections and then goes on to PROVE (only to
himself) that they make some connections to real people.

Basically, Mikey just hates and makes up shit to justify his hate... again,
only to himself because his confabulations are transparently ludicrous to
anyone else.
