sun = sol = solo = one

luna (moon) = alone

dis-aster = without star = destruction of a star

catastrophy = cata (to break down) astra (a star)

typhoon = the serpent that was unleashed in the sky and
that cause so much destruction

hurricane = the shaking of the serpent (cain, cane, kahn = serpent)
