A look to the future.

I really wish we had public services in this country. Public
transportation is a must, with gas prices this high. If we just
outlawed cars except for bus's & taxies, trains, plaines, subways, and
trolly's, the world would be a better place. We wouldn't have to
worry about car accidents anymore, or gas prices, or even knowing how
to get where we were going. People in this country are all retarted,
and we need special services. There should be public food kitches,
and shelters in every community. We really need free health care. If
we just took care of all the essentials people needed to live as
public services, then I think the world would basically be a utopia.
I don't care if I have basic cable tv, the internet, and all the
perks. There could just be a local hang-out with a tv, computers,
library books etc.. We need freely opened YMCAs too if you ask me.
People need a place to get their exercise. It's like they are trying
to keep us down. The world is going to change for the better I think,
when people don't care about money as much as they do their health &
the well being of family & friends. I don't think we will need money
in the future, I think we will just need our honor & dignity. I think
in the future there will be rewards for doing the right thing, and
being a service to the community. People will just work independently ...

I wouldn't go so far as to outlaw cars, but maybe make public
transportation as
attractive as possible, and see more funds going toward building up a
suitable
public transportation infrastructure than throwing more money, land,
and materials into building
yet more freeways and extensions. The Los Angeles/San Diego/Las Vegas/
San Fransisco corridor
could really use a good inter-city rail system with inexpensive fares.

Got that already.

You don't like being harassed when you cruise the men's showers looking for
cock?

Not really.

In selective locations. If you live in the city they have
public transportation, if you live in a smaller town or
or in an isolated location you have no public transit.

I am Country County. It is 2 miles to a bus stop. I am a truck gal now
but it is a F150 Lariat and gets better mileage then my Safari Van
did. I know Ford..everyone hates Fords, but I *love* my baby. I have
yet to become one of *them* that is a must in the country. A gun rack.
Nope. Hunters park in our fields and hunt ducks when the wetlands fill
up. I bring in flocks of seagulls to mix because if they hit them,
they get fined. heh~ How was that for going off topic?

If you live in a smaller town or isolated location the tax base isn't large
enough to pay for public transportation.

You can whine about that or you can put one foot in front of the other and
get there faster.
