A clocks chime

There is nothing permanent in the universe.

There is no certainty to be found in an impermanent universe.

When a thought is as useful as a tool in your hand, only a fool would
cast it away, or grasp it as if it were made of gold. All tools break
or decay and become useless to fulfil thier original function. A good
workman replaces his tools as necessary. It is his work that is
important.

This includes the universe.

Impermanence is certainly certain.

Really? All? Even a solid gold tool, well taken care of?

What? The process by which an element heavier than iron transmutes to an
even heavier one is not something that happens quietly over time.

Tom, you've been watching too much Star Wars. The mind numbing power
of a supernova
reaction is totally silent in the vacuum of outer space. 0 [ ; )
