Saw it at 41 seconds.pretty revealing...seems to have been the way the
light s were shining on the table that enhances the flash.

quite nice variation on "cocoon".. the twitiching in the cocoon is a
little use of mechanical methods to make it look like someone still in
there until it comes back to the platform and the person reappears
from the trap into the cocoon??

as you say the "Big" style cocoon version uses twins etc and there is
a Russian clip showing the hiding place under the table using a piece
of black art that drops down during the performance.

will have alook for the full cocoon illusion and the russian little
clip.

will be useful to have the Cocoon as a separate topic

Julian...did you see Bp is back?? i have asked him to edit his
posts!!! if that happens then i will truly believe in Magic!!

I can not believe that DC would be so careless as to let that trap be
seen like that!

Good to see BP back. Hey House, did you ever see the movie "Contact"?
There is a scene where a stream of information sent from another
galaxy turns out to be the plans for a complex travel machine, but can
only be read when three pages are held together to form a corner and
viewed from a specific angle.

I'm wondering - do you think if we collect BP's posts and assemble
them in a 3D configuration, we will find the plans for a brand new
illusion?

i dont really think DC even knew the trap would show up like that .
The girl is hot though.

Don;t think he thought it over that Jimmy-jib would put the camera in
such a position that the reflectance difference of the spandes vs the
tabel would be so apparent. The girl is hot though.

Jay Leno was and guests where standing 90 degrees to the illusion .
They must have see dave climb up the table. The girl is hot though.

As for BP's posts. Julian I think you're halfway there but to really
get it we need to make a 3d hologram of his posts then step inside and
view it.

BP reminds me of the movie "a beautiful mind"

The thing is that DC doesn't have control over something like that.

If the trap is visible at his show, he can fix it or if it's a video
that he release then he wouldn't release it like that and go off and
re-shoot it

By Jay Leno (as far as I know) goes out live and DC does not pick the
shots or angles and whilst the TV show is not out to expose DC, they
do not take the care that DC takes to stop anything revealing being
release. (I mean look at what he did to his Tornado Of Fire special to
make sure you couldn't work anything out.

Nice to see an old DC illusion redone, but as good looking as the girl
is, she didn't put as much energy into throwing the sheet as the
original twins footage.

I am a great DC fan and have see him twice, but I feel he is getting a
little old to pull off the sexual partner of a good looking girl like
that. He looks more like her granddad!
