that was a very EDITED example of Bills posts!!!!

at one stage in the previous Somf...QeD became worried that i "Pae"
could actually understand and communicate with him!!!

he's a very caring soul is QeD...anyay since then i have come out of
rehab and am better!!

still though...i do miss him!!

MagicMan....you would have very sore fingers editing and deleting his
posts but then every now and again he came up with an excellent post
which "almost" justified reading all the links and clicking on
them...most of which went nowhere....fast

Hey there.
I was experimenting with mirrors to set up a sphinx table and it got
me thinking about all these publicity stunts with large objects:
vanishing the statue of liberty, morgan strebler making a power plant
vanish, a internatiaonal magician making an island vanish.
What methods or resources are there for vanishing or rather hiding
large objects:
mirrors? hydrolics?

What are some methods available? I know few but just want to know some
others.

Vanishing car/small plane has been done with slatted screens at 90
degrees and sphinx type mirrors fill the gaps. Guess you know that
idea. Statue of liberty was done with a cloth screen to simulate the
sky, I think

photo realistic card board cut outs of buildings, mountains, space
shuttles,
day time ideasor nite time ideas or use maskylne war magician ideas of
cama fagle stage scrim netting and use sopt lights ith slatted spaced
mirror to visually vanish large objects from he audiences point of
view or use his cool idea of making a whole city vanish at nite while
reall city with folks in it are safe and sound
that im gueesing thats how cool illusionist jim stein myier hought of
ususing motrorized tiorn table to hlp david copperfield illusionist
magician make the reall statue of liberty vanish
and gave lance burton the same turn table idea to make a b2 bomber
vanish in day time ideas
or use franz harary ideas to make large buildings, parmids extc jet
planes tanks extc and criss angel uses perspective view plus angels
plus use franz ideas of plate formhigher up in mid air to give the
illusion no thunder brd jet plans on tar mac in day time then lower
plat form in a way thats not noticable to the human eye and dis in
gage in the middle as plat form lowers to reall tarmacair port run way
perct blended hollow shell plat form like putting shell coin over real
coin idea and now out of no where is 6 cool thunder bird jet airplanes
same idea that cool franz harary used to make the santa fe hoteal
vanish in nice blue sky day added with white clouds in sky the sun
meets the horizon then back to normal again like a eclips of the sun
idea
and uses roller shade mirror that roll upin the poles franz crew is
using like a pa ton pinter like how jet planes are singnald
to land idea
or uses fast elvadors t ler under tar mac run way or have house or jet
plane bolted down so you able to revolve the whole obect in question
up side down under run way tarmac and at same time the partthats was
under ground playing as the bottom part is nowplaying the top part
minus the jet plane orhouse, building extc
or d like penn and teller do that is one of my ideas i also thought
about years ago theymusta aw my post in alt.magic.secrets
and thats to use high flying helicopiter inmid air in slight hover
mode while flying off with jet air plane under cover of stage scrim
netting
they done same idea well sorta
ps they used helicopters to make reall submarine vanish under water
