I agree with ya gcat. Like Criss said when he was doing the buried
alive stunt. If he died...he wanted ti be left in that coffin. And I
noticed JoAnne said "no way." But anyway, maybe this is a real
'cliffhanger' to season 5? Fans have to know that if Criss would have
died last night...I'm sure it would have made the nightly news. Yes, I
was concernd....but that's what Criss does. And he does it well. In MY
opinion!

Connie,
Criss had nothing to do with this rumor. It was something his crew did
to film the fans emotions about the news that something bad happened
to him.
They left the fans unaware for more than a hour in the freezing cold.
This is just a sick.

Hey people stood out in the rain in NY overnight, while Criss was
probably somewhere having a nice dinner and catching some zzzzzz....

Don't people go to these thing to be "freaked"?? Trust me it's far
worse to stand around for hours and not see anything!

However, since most his fans are pretty young now, this may have been
a bit much for them to handle.

People knew that the Cement block drop was going to take 24 hrs.
Immediately after the block dropped he appeared to the public and
showed he "survived" the stunt.
Letting fans wait for more than an hour after the stunt not knowing if
he made it and giving them the impression something bad happened isn't
right.
Absolutely not right.

If I were at the stunt and I was lead to beleive that he died and
later found out that this was done to get more beleiveable reaction
shots I WOULD BE FURIOUS!

It is very unethical.

And it sounds like now that Criss knew nothing about what his crew was
doing but someone needs to be yelled at.

I would guess Criss knew about the whole thing. Would'nt he have
apologized by now if he did'nt wan't people to think he died? This is
just another desperation gimmick because he's run out of amazing
stunts. Wrestling's Vince Mcmahon also did this gag where people
thought he was dead. Then that wrestler got killed in an accident, and
he admitted it was all a set up. Maybe Criss stole this idea too, like
he steals everything else. Thanks to Bill Page this time for leading
me to "Trickbusters" on youtube. They show Copperfield's levitation
over the Grand Canyon. What a surprise, Criss' building levitation was
done the same way, But Copperfield did'nt have to use computer's. Same
with Copperfield's sawed in half. He did it live, with no edits.
Criss' changing one car into another was done the same way Copperfield
made the plane disappear, can you believe that? Just more proof of
what an amateur Criss is. Criss will replace Copperfield??? Only in
his pea brain.

That is definintely not true, HDM. In the van escape from Season III,
for example, they had the wireless cameras in there so that people
like you, could see that he really was performing the stunt. This car
escape thing sounds very similar. We won't know for sure until we see
it, but you can understand why the people that care deeply for him
were so scared.

He has done many dangerous things that were definitely not fake. Like
the C4 explosion(cameras inside the box again), the shark cage escape,
the straitjacket keelhaul, the wine barrel escape (and yes he really
was in the wine barrell, his hands were sticking out the whole time
while he was getting the handcuffs off), the Tesla coil, the fishhook
helicopter ordeal, etc.

Stop trying to discredit the man. The things you say on this board
have not dimished my opinion of him one iota.

Eating a live mouse is also unethical!

I told my Mom that Criss might have been in an accident she said
"serves him right for what he did to that mouse"!

hahaha, Gcat that is too funny. I'll have to admit the mouse thing was
pretty gross. I doubt that he ate the mouse though, but it did look
