From all the Books, DVDs, Tricks I gotten this year. This book is the
BEST so far, if not this year.
This book is a 'how to' manual on street busking with magic. WAIT! -
Before you turn your nose up on the mis/overused term 'street magic',
the author of this book makes his living SOLELY off of being a street
performer. He supports a family (and even put his kids through
private school). THe books teaches you how to apply your -craft- to
do what he does.
He teaches you how to gather a crowd, forming a show, and making it in
the business. If you want to see what he does look at the second -
video- down on his page. He gathers a crowd (approx 20-30 people),
does his show, and then hats (or collects money) from the crowd.

Totally off-topic from your post, but since you're a magic book kind
of guy, have you heard of the Cloud Busting book that came out last
year?
Just wondering if you happened to have it.

I was going to 'pre-order' it when it came up on "the green" place and
kinda forgot about it. After it came out, I heard so-so to not so
great reviews and moved it to the bottom of my mental wish list. If
it comes up on ebay at the right place, i'll get it.
I have no idea about the theory of the book, but if I can make an
educated guess, it's like that 'moving a mountain illusion' where the
forced frame of view is inconspiciously moved for the spectator.

Sounds like the one based on the Al Mann material.

Don't waste your time on cloud busting. It *sounds* great and while all
you really do is just point at the sky, it's not even worth reading in
my opinion as there are too many variables to contend with. The authors
make it sound like this is the greatest new thing and that it is easy to
do but they don't mention in their ads that you might get lucky to use 1
of their methods once in a year since the timing is so critical. The
hype on this book really was just a bunch of hot(moist) air.

Even worse. It's little more than knowing how certain types of clouds
form(or break up) and having the perfect timing to make a bold
statement. If you miss this timing, most of the methods they list will
not even be available.
And to address Maxwell, yes, it very well could be based on Al's material.

It was basically just a page in one of his books. Making an entire
book out of one page is a great example of hot air.
