slipping coins

I am getting back into coin work and was wondering if there is anything that
anyone uses to prevent the "dry" slipperiness on your hands when working
with coins. This may have been posted by someone else before. Sometimes my
hands have just the right amount of "tack" and then sometimes they are so
dry and slippery that I cant work at all. Any help would be appreciated.

I think we all have that problem from time to time Jim. It's even makes it
hard to handle cards correctly. From past postings I've learned that "Corn
Huskers Lotion" works fine. Also "Modeling Clay" when worked in the hands
can do the job just fine. I keep a small ball of white modeling clay handy
and it also can be a help in palming practice.
Let us know if you come up with something that works for you.

For coins I use "glycerin and rosewater" available at most drugstores. Put
it in a small spray bottle. One sprtiz does the trick.

Don't use for cards as it seems to leave a residue.
