that was a very EDITED example of Bills posts!!!!
at one stage in the previous Somf...QeD became worried that i "Pae"
could actually understand and communicate with him!!!
he's a very caring soul is QeD...anyay since then i have come out of
rehab and am better!!
still though...i do miss him!!
MagicMan....you would have very sore fingers editing and deleting his
posts but then every now and again he came up with an excellent post
which "almost" justified reading all the links and clicking on
them...most of which went nowhere....fast

Hey guys, what's up?
so, they started putting Mindfreak on an Arab channel, and since I'm
the so called "Youngest Pro Magician in the middle east" people
started challenging me to do better illusions, lol, now I'm not doing
it to beat Criss or who ever, I'm doing this cause I'm really enjoying
the idea of making big illusions.
so first off, I wanna start with a Car appearence\vanish, I'll include
stooges if needed, I have to choose between three cars to do this
illusion with
1) Audi Q7 (4X4)
2) Ford (4X4)
3) Audi R8
so can you please give me a way to do the vanish\appearence? and which
car you think will look more impressive when I do it?

Well, I'll do it in an open street or parking, no real audience should
be there, but if there's an easy way to do it with real audience it
would be great, and I wanna do it in day light.
PS: I wanna do it to put it on my group on facebook to show people how
good it can get when you're on a video

If you are vanishing the vehicle, draw a chalk outline on the
pavement. Similar to a body outline you see in crime movies. This
would be a nice touch to add to the effect of the illusion

I'm gonna do all that, but when I first know how to vanish it
I'm thinking to do an appearence also like franz harrary did, he was
playing with a helicopter with a remote, he put it behind the curtain
and he changed it into a real one
so waiting for you guys to tell me a good way to do it ^^

LordS, We're waiting for YOU to use your brain a bit and try to tell
US how YOU think it could be done...
Maybe if you put in a little effort and watched some video clips on
youtube, or whatever, or purchased some books (maybe something like
magicfingers' explanations), and tried to figure some things out
yourself, and posted your hypothesis, then we could help you figure it
out.... and tell you where you are right or wrong....
We don't spoon feed people here... part of the thing about magic
secrets is that you need to EARN the secrets...
We don't hand them out on a silver platter...
I'm not trying to be difficult, but with secrets such as this, there
isn't anything free.....
So how do YOU think these things could be done?

for the appearence, maybe it's like how criss angel did it, the car
coming from a far place.

THE VANISH DOESN'T USE BLACK ART...
Black art generally means to cover something in black and it
disappears against a black background...
the magician and assistants walked into the space where the car was...
and there was no way to hide a car against the black background in
bright light....
the car really is gone from where it was...
you have to figure out where it went and how it got there....

assistants stand a little bit forward?

I don't have any plans or know how it's really done.
Here's what I notice about the vanish? There are two places the car
can be...behind the black curtain or underneath the floor. If he is
using a white curtain to cover all sides of the car to achieve the
vanish, why does he need the 2nd set of black curtains surrounding the
vehicle. Also, you don't get to inspect all sides of the car...not
fair. So...
As for the appearance of a car, I love watching those where cars
appear from a large parking lot, which I believe uses mirrors and/or
backdrops. Yet, I don't know how...hahaha. Let's say, that would be my
dream performance.

No mirrors or backdrops used in Julian's car production... WYSIWYG...
In the vanish, I can tell you with certainty that it didn't go down...
and it definitely didn't go up... maybe it deflated? nah, that would
have made a loud farting noise....
You know you might try searching through all of the previous posts in
this section... there may be a clue or 3 or 4 ....
AAMOF, If you don't do a search, and post in the original threads on
these topics, I will be obliged to lock this thread, since most of

homework.
