MyNetworkTV's 2008-09 schedule will feature more magic, comedic clips
and law enforcement.
The News Corp.-owned network said Wednesday that it has greenlighted
the new series "Magic's Biggest Secrets Revealed," as expected (HR
4/13), as well as the tentatively titled clip show "Funniest Moments"
and new seasons of "Jail" and "Street Patrol."
Magic-themed programming, including Bruce Nash's "The Magicians Code:
Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed" has been a surprise
performer for the 2-year-old network. MyNet has ordered 13 hourlong
episodes featuring the masked magician revealing the tricks of the
trade; the show likely will air at 9 p.m. Mondays.
"Funniest Moments" comprises "outrageous moments caught on tape." It's
being eyed to air at 9 p.m. Wednesdays.
Returning on Tuesdays are "Jail" and "Street Patrol," both from
Langley Prods.' ("Cops"), while Thursday and Saturday nights will
feature theatrical films.
As previously announced, Friday nights now will be the home of "WWE
SmackDown!" which is relocating from the CW.
