Criss Angel Disses A Faker On "Phenomenon"
Criss Angel is proud to be an illusionist: he doesn't pretend that
he's doing magic tricks, and he's not a believer in the paranormal. He
loves a good illusion, but it's his intention on "Phenomenon" to call
out anyone who claims their work is being done through supernatural
means.
That person arrived on the show in the form of Michael Callahan, who
uses automatic writing to divine secrets like "what's in this box?"
Uri Geller of course loves the act, and Criss Angel thinks it's
absurd. He pulls out an envelope and asks Callahan what's in it,
offering him a million dollars if he can guess it. Obviously, they
can't. Callahan and Angel nearly come to blows.
This video ends with some criticism of Criss Angel, calling him a
hypocrite for having a "supernatural" show but refusing to believe
anyone else's paranormal displays. That's kind of silly, because like
I said earlier, Angel makes it pretty clear that his performances have
perfectly normal explanations. The best part, in my opinion, is seeing
the paranormalist get humiliated:

I agree completely with Criss Angel. It was comical.
He never says himself that what he does is supernatural, and he says
anything he does himself has an explanation. Other people say it's
supernatural but not him himself.
As for the Criss "discrediting" everyone else's belief in Jesus and
the miracles of the Bible, that is a religious belief and isn't
directly linked to "supernatural."
I totally and 100%% agree with Criss.

I enjoyed watching Criss debunk the paranormalist, I thought his
performance was comical and very unbelievable and he did nothing that
the other contestants, Criss Angel and many other mentalists haven't
done and they do not claim to be helped by "spirits". The fact that
the end of the video criticizes Criss was surprising to me - he does
not claim to have any "powers" to do what he does, or help from
"spirits" just skill. At the end of his Seance episode hs says, "Do
you believe in ghosts? I don't." He makes a similar comment at the end
of this year's Halloween episode. The term Supernatural is used by
Criss in fun because of all of the mindfreaking things that he does.
Also, using someone's religious beliefs to make them out to be a
hypocrite because they don't believe in special "supernatural" powers
is really reaching. Criss was obviously raised a Christian, and I am
sure that there is a huge number of Christians that do not believe
people who claim they can talk to ghosts and who do not believe that
people have special powers.

Criss Angel
You hit a nerve last night with the "actor" claiming his body was
occupied by a dead man.
The guilty dog was barking big time hey?
If the man was being truthful he would not have gotten upset and
defensive.
Thanks for keeping things in perspective.

I agree with all of the above. The guy only went off cause he knew he
was caught! He is a fake. Criss you rock!! Criss says himself he
doesnt have supernatural powers noone does. Criss did not bring
religion into this show. So why is this guy talking about. This guy is
going to be eleminated anyway. Noone will put up with a fake!!

if criss angel thinks he is the biggest magician why he don't make a
open contest to any one to challenge him.

Like the others, I find the criticism of Criss at the end to be almost
as comical as the performance. Criss Angel has always maintained that
he does nothing that is even the least bit supernatural. Of course, he
does things on his show that seem that way . . . he's an entertainer.
All the guy, or Uri, had to do was tell him what was in the envelope.
They've had made him look foolish and they've have an extra million
tonight. All Criss did was extend the same challenge James Randi has
had out for years. So if this contestant is so brilliant, why not make
two million? Why not read lottery numbers, cure cancer, and stop war?
Anyone who actually believes this guy might just be a bigger douchebag
than him. Let's face it . . . if he was the real deal, why would he be
bothering with a reality show? Wouldn't he be much too busy making his
life perfect instead of being proved a phony on national live
television. What with being psychic and all, he should have seen that
coming.

WELL IVE Experienced ALOT of these so called MENTALism tricks the
switching cups, Knife trick, bending fork.. CRISS could have
challenged all the mentalist with his FKIN CHILDISH ACT. HE A CAMERA
editor he edits his stuff so its real and stages stuff. THE mentalism
stuff is so easy to figure out its not even funny NOT ALL CAUSE IM A
MAGICIAN and never reveal my trick. He just acting like a child CAUSE
I CAN CHALLENGE CRISS to read my mind and envelope and his bro told me
"only god can do that". So they just being loser and were both acting
foolish. I would tell criss get a grip its an act, why don't you show
us a trick now "without your camera editing crap" .Magic is an act of
the hands or a source and your eyes decieving you. I dont know how he
did the car trick, but it could be done with any object such as the
audience, chalkboard, tape recorder. He was trying to be creative not
original. I Spole to rickly believe it or not and he dint like criss
either so there. Its all a business. Its an industry they're always
conflicts. But magic is all about acts, illusions, stunts. AND
"SCIENCE" as people may or my not know, as my friend said. Which may
or may not include technology.
Check out Gazillian Bubble show id say theyre some magic there hes
from vietnam!
