spidermantv show but hey lead me to the spiderman vhs tape of classic
cartoon butthey never heard of tvseris live action on CBS ?

Just a heads up to those of you who are collecting magic on old
television shows.

Mission Impossible Season 4 (1969-1970) will be released on May 13,
2008.

This is the season where Leonard Nemoy joins the IMF team as Paris.

This is the first season without Martin Landau and Barbara Bain, who
left over a contract dispute. This was really big news way back
then.

In the episode titled "The Falcon" Nemoy plays a flamboyant magician
magician named Zastro.

As I recall this is one hell of a good episode and he really shines
and does the magic profession good.

Also, while I'm on the subject of old TV shows, the second and final
season of Banacek just came out. Although there were only 16
episodes
total for this entire series almost everyone who was alive back then
can remember this short lived show.

I bring this up because in almost every episode magician's principles
are used to steal the object or person Banacek is out to recover.

Last night for example I watched an episode where a 3 ton solid stone
statue was stolen in a matter of seconds.
It took place inside a guarded museum. All these fantastic crimes
take place under impossible circumstances.

The Banacek series is practically being givn away over on Amazon. I
think I paid under $18 for this second season.

Another one you'll want to collect is Season 4 of Wild Wild West
which
is coming out March 18, 2008. And that will be the last season to b
released. All 105 episodes are now available. Artemus Gordon
invents
all sorts of clandestine weaponry for James Wests use, much of which
is based on magician's principles and gimmicks.

This last one is for lovable Bill Page. It contains no magic but was
a great show back in 1967-68. I am speaking of "The Invaders",
season
one (17 episodes)will be released on May 6, 2008.

By the way Bill, the other Irwin Allen show I'm sure you love "Land
of
the Giants" is also out. The only drawback is that it's only
available
as a coplete series and costs around $200.oo at this time.

I really hit the jackpot last week, I bought 80 episodes of "The
Rifleman" for only $30.oo!!! And unlike a lot of old TV shows from
the '50s and '60s, these transfers are flawless!!!
