I've seen David do this live and was never close enough to see what
was really going on. Now even when I watch the video I'm not
"catching" it. I have idea on how it might be done, but I'm not really
sure. My first thought on the production of the fish was a TT or some
type of water load. Any ideas?

ok i have a theory for the water disapearance and apearance.
obviously it has somethin to do with that cloth, maybe there is a
sponge attached that soaks up the water, or the bowl of the glass has
another plastic bowl inside of it thta comes out. the fish on the
other hand i'm not sure about, thats a lot of fish to b kept in a
thumb tip, it could b some kind of gimmick that may be go up his
sleeve, he still has his sleeves down as he pours the water into his
fist and then he rolls his sleeves up, at that point he could b moving
the gimmick up his arm as he rolls his sleeves up. not sure tho

I think the same as the sponge idea as for the fish you can buy a
special thumb tip that is designed for that trick.

penguinmagic used to even sell (maybe they still do) a special gimmick
for producin live fish it wasnt a thumb tip it was somethin ur able to
palm, it was like a small plastic container that was easily palmed or
sleeved

How can a sponge so neatly absorb all the water in that bowl? The
bowl in bowl idea seems more appropriate for me.

May I know what a 'water load' means? Is there anything technical in
the term that I am missing?

the sponge idea works great if you use the sponge from the
inexhaustable sponge. is is the kinda sponge from ladies makup sets,
and is really absorbant!

Well, Picking it apart a little bit more, I find one thing over
everything else suspitious. David has a guy handing him the cloth each
time. My thoguth when i saw it was the glass was just beging switched
under the cloth somehow. Perhaps The first one something which soaked
the water up, But then the cloth is switched for another one but
underneath as its handed to him, the glass full of water is under but
has something on the top to stop the water falling out, then twhen the
cloth is pulled of. so is the thing on top. As for the fish, at first
i thought there was a mirror in the centre of the glass, one side a
fish and the other there wernt, And there was only one fish in there
because the second one was a reflection, All needed to be done is turn
the glass but i dont htink thats the method. I throughts it was a Fish
Thumb. I thought he loaded it onto his thumb, then pured the fish and
water out into his fist, then into the glass. But not sure.

i dont doubt the helper is adding loads to the cloth or even
switching them for gimmicked cloths. but i think the fish are small
enough that they all could fit in a thumb tip. watch his handling. you
never see his thumb, so it could be the size of a lightbulb and be
neon oragne and it wouldnt matter......what im getting at, is it
probably is a not-normal TT that can hold a few fish. i think a
gimmick possiable to bring the water back is to attach a plastic
bubble to the cloth and fill it with water. then when they place the
cloth on the glass the bubble goes into the glass compleately filling
it. then when he whisks the cloth away, the water stays and the bubble
leaves.

You've got to take into account the magnifying quality of curved
glasses.
Those fish are really tiny! That's why I think the oversized tt is the
method
Either that or I think there were fertilised fish eggs in the water
and that there is a cut,of about 3 weeks,to allow them to hatch.
Cheers,Dale.

second one from the top. You can see it is a thumb tip with an added
plug that clips to the inside of your jacket which means you can steal
it out when ever you want to produce it.

Bill, please stop posting entire threads from alt. magic, or any
place else for that matter, on our forum, and please stop posting
entire threads from our forum on others...
If you want to post a link to another forum, or even a SMALL quote,
fine, but we are Secrets of Magic Forum, NOT alt.magic...
We work things out for ourself, and we are not interested in having
indecipherable and non-relevant conversations from other forums
clogging up our threads...
From now on, posting of this type will be considered as "spam" and the
entire post will be deleted without bothering to go through the post
to try and find the relevant information. After the 500th time of you
posting "type in trickbusters" I think we all know how to find videos
of those idiots, and we don't want TV listings and we don't care when
the Masked Magician is going to be on the television...
Please refrain from posting this unwanted clutter.

thanks for understanding
