I really don't know the workings of this only that her body remains in
the section behind black cloth, I'm guessing there is two girls
involved. Still very sad, not enough practice...

I was wincing when I saw this on the show...
but not about the exposed illusion... about that guy's makeup (Angel
wannabe )
It's not only lack of practice, it's a poorly designed & constructed
illusion... the girl's clothes in the part that slid out were
perfectly flat and stretched out looking, it sure didn't look like a
section of her body was slid out, and that girl operating the black
curtain was very obvious that she was leaning down and doing something
when she was pulling up the curtain, and then you can see her right
hand or arm or something showing thru a gap in the curtain on the side
of the "blank" section.... I think he probably built this himself and
recruited his girlfriend and his sister to be his assistants... now
he'll never be able to use that illusion again... everybody in the
freaking country has seen the secret...
too bad really... it showed everybody just how disappointing "the
secret" really is...
Guys like him give a bad name to magicians.... he's a bloody cartoon
and he's a hack... NOT THAT I'M ANY BETTER, but I didn't go on
national TV and try to be something I'm not....

Actually one of the assistants helped in Criss Angels
Metamorphosis...and a man on the Cafe says that he asked him to rent
this illusion for a rock concert...he never said anything about AGT

Q, you read my mind seriously. the slid out section looked waaay too
fake and i wasnt really even paying attention when i watched it.
Like sure, it was good that he "tried" to cover up the fact that he
messed up. but i think it would have been better to go out with a 1
liner rather then saying "noo, its supposed to happen like that" and
even if it was (which i know its not), what "mystery" was he reffering
too?

ps i first saw this illusion i my dream only illusionist david
copperfield done this idea in my dream and he used his lady with out a
middle illusion to do this idea
in my dream then a few weeks later my friend david drew duncan took me
to chuck wendlys magic shop in norfolk virginia
he bought close up stuffan i bough illusion books extc and linking
cards book
anways david drew duncan bought magic magazine andgennie magazine
we bought a big thick jucey cheese burger at fud ruckers restraunt
and he wasshowing me the magazaines i was amazed at one stage illuson
in photo in magic or genni magzine
and david drew duncan said you look like youv seen a ghost
then i said not a ghost but my dream idea illusion i dreammed about
going to david copperfields show and e done this very idea illusion
only with his lady in red turns into transform int transperancy
illusion he does on stage
and on the streets of ba jing on his eith anua special walkng tru the
great wall of china hos ben ver ren
ps folks now i have sig frig an roy illusion specialthey do this
illusion too
