Does anyone out there know how this is done. Does it use your "FRIEND" as
some sort of stooge. I really want to purchase this effect, but not sure if
it is worth it.

Thanks in advance!

If the friend is the one you perform it for, he surely wouldn't be a
stooge. That solution is not even close. Try getting a copy of Larry
Becker's book Stunners Plus and you'll find lots of effects that
will show you the solution. That book costs around $150.00. Or you
could just shell out the $30.00 for the one you saw.

I have a few mentalism effects that I can do over the phone. Nothing
impresses a booking agent for an event more than my being able to do
magic during a phone call. The mail is just another nice way to
ensure that things aren't tampered with at all.

Address envelope on display with a disappearing ink pen drop in
mailbox with your predictions inside.
After the results of the event are known, write down correct
prodictions and mail for the win.

obvious.

Sorry. Postmark mismatch. Bzzzt!

Even thought that is the method used, it's not one that works. There
are better ways. Read Al Koran's Legacy by Hugh Miller. See how he
predicts a lottery win. The envelope never leaved the pocket of the
official and yet it's correct. Exactly.
