So, how is Mr. Bongqueer going to fix his latest issue with MC?

Mastercam Reliability

I sure hope that when Mastercam X3 is released in the next few months
that it's better coded than X2 MR2. I cranked out 6 programs in
Mastercam today. Had to kill Mastercam and restart it 4 times. Shit
just stops working. Example: I'm chaining and wish to move the start
point. The move start point dialog box won't open until I kill
Mastercam X2 MR2 SP1 (latest download from CNC Software's website) and
restart.

He said he has been using MC for at least a couple of months, which in
Jon's mind makes him an expert.

MasterCAM Handbook Series of which I own all three books. Expensive...
$100 per book. Just finished Volume 1.
]-Jon Banquer- Dec 1, 2007 -clueless poseur.

With Jon's track record its hard to determine if his problem is
something old or new, since he is clueless enough to keep banging his
head against a wall for months rather than look for and fix the root
cause (most likely a beginner mistake or corrupted file).

Just like when he was bragging about working on a 1/2 Million dollar
HMC with 12 pallets (miscount by JB, machine only has 11). Jon said
they couldn't get reliable G-Code out of MC and had to run the MC
generated G-Code through NC-Plot to verify the tool path and that a
quick and easy fix the MC post was not a priority. Jon doesn't work
there any longer, can't figure out why he was so proud of having a
high production machine that spent little time producing.

[
The beautiful thing about working with this 1/2 million dollar
horizontal machine with 12 pallets is that I spend very little time
running parts and spend the majority of my time on programming,
setting up and optimizing the program.

"Neither backplot or verify in MasterCAM check actual G code. NC Plot
checks the actual G code."-Jon Banquer-

"So what your saying is you can't program using MasterCAM or configure
its post processor to output good G-Code"-Brewertr-

"Some of our posts do need some work. Fixing them is not our shops /
the owners / my highest priority right now."-Jon Banquer-

So is going to help Mr-Jon-the-Donk-Bandqueer with clues about MC, NOW
THAT YOU BANNED HIM?
