The Debate

Last night's debate between Hillary and Obama was a joke.
The Democrats are calling for the creation of "green collar"
jobs. Guess what, I'm already seeing work from around the
Country without them. Wind engergy and fuel cell technology
is already being driven by the free market.

Regarding NAFTA, forget about getting the jobs back.

Our shop currently
has the output of a 1960's 40 man shop with just 8 of us.
The technology has changed, and labor intensive jobs are
dead. Get yourself trained and quit crying about it.
We still hire people, but we need computer skilled engineers,
not turret lathe operators.

Lastly, If we really are serious about getting manufacturing
back on it's feet here in Cleveland and the great lakes region,
give us access to the 4 trillion cu ft. of natural gas under lake erie.
Canada is currently tapped into it - why not us ?
How about a steel mill running with nearly free engergy ?

Unfortunately without a paper trail it is not really so far fetched.
