Jon:

You could say that. Who cares, a cat's a cat to anyone that isn't
acquainted with the specific cat's personality.

Like what?

I feed him beads. The more expensive beads, since he doesn't defecate
as much as when I use the cheaper ones. Saves me from having to scoop
the cat box so often.

Well, I've heard it all before, so you'll have to excuse me if I'm not
interested in being your straight man, sorry.

Times / products change and so do I. Not interested in you being my
straight man. Got plenty of more effective ideas to implement. ;>)

Just a little heads-up that you've heard before. The best ideas in the
world may not be accepted or acknowledged if the presentation is
negative.

Bill Gibbs knows he's got to do something. He prefers that he doesn't
have to pay to get the job done because he's beyond cheap. All that
matters to Bill Gibbs is not acknowledging I had anything to do with
it and finding a way to get someone to do it for free. All that
matters to me is that the information is made available. Consider that
sometimes you can't get anything done with a gentle approach and that
the more people are made aware of the problem and bitch about it the
sooner the problem gets dealt with.

Any idea how many years Ground Support had to keep asking Bill Gibbs
to let them create a post processor alternative to Compost? Call
Ground Support and ask them how many years they had to keep asking
Bill Gibbs. Something got done when Gibbs VAR's started bitching they
needed an alternative to make sales. Gibbs VAR's are going to have a
harder and harder time selling against MasterCAM. Gibbs real growth
has not been in the U.S. Matsuura is their number one VAR and Japan
has been where Gibbs has been getting their real growth.

Follow-up on shop camera advice wanted thread.

As indicated I got the Fujifilm Finepix S700.

Some observations based on a little use [> 200 pictures] to date.

Although it is light weight for anyone who is used to a brass
body nikon it seems to take very good pictures.

The macro zoom feature will let you get in close enough to show a
special grind on a tool, although the flash is disabled.

The program that comes with the camera to download the pictures
is IMNSHO marginal at best and wants to load in automatically at
boot-up so it can tell when you attach the camera to begin the
download process.

Downloading from the camera to the computer is slow, and the
factory recommends the auxiliary powerpack.

You can take a few pictures on the internal memory but you will
want to purchase a XD memory card. Given the price, it appears
the 1 gig is the better choice.

IRRC...Irfanview will allow you to aquire photos from your camera.

It should be noted that those with Oly's, and others, dont need any
further software if you are running XP. Due to a software licensing
issue between Olympus and Micrsloth..the drivers are in XP..but are
turned off in the registry, and easily turned back on with regedit

Google the very simple procedure of removing the semicolon..

Sorry to hear about that, Dave.
I had to put my buddy Fred down last year. They think it was a brain
tumor. 10 yr. old, 97lb German Shepard (real tall-actually looked
thin-ate like a horse, but never really filled out). I'm 6'1", and he
could put his paws on the front of my shoulders. Still miss him. He
was my friend. My daughter still keeps his collar under her pillow.
