my energy rant

Do you remember last year when even the
threat of a hurricane in the gulf caused a big
worry about the supply of natural gas, and prices
shot up ??

So now we have some of the warmest weather
in January in the midwest in a long time.

The cost per cu ft of gas for my shop and home
has not gone down. How about yours ??
Not even a peep about the effect of warm weather
on energy in the media.

I even think the bastards will raise the price becuase
of low sales volume. We need to clean out washington
BOTH PARTIES !

CROOKS !

You were all for it IIRC.
Even though many/most such"cuts" are due to expire.

How so? The repub oil prices spurred by the decline
of the dollar due to their beloved wars & deficits?
But you love regressive taxes anyway, right?

Typical response from you. Snip away the part where I showed it was a
regressive tax, you know the part with the numbers and whatnot that you
didn't understand. Then you make some unsubstantiated allegations and
throw in an ad hom and a k00kspiracy. The only thing you forgot to do was
to x-post to a half dozen k00k groups.

That isn't a good thing.

Real estate should keep pace with income. Income has not gone up 200%%
in 3.5 years which means we're in a bubble. For the economy as a whole,
hopefully the bubble bursts gradually.

Regardless, it isn't something you should include in a political post.
The president, no matter who he is, or the Congress, no matter who is
in control, have little sway over large market forces. This isn't a
Centrally Planned Economy we've got here.
