Maybe I'm putting too much into this, but has anybody thought that maybe
this is an organized effort to erradicate usenet.
lots of ISP's hate usenet, lots of problems and no cash flow.
If it is, I promise to run a uunet server till they kick my door down and
open fire.
The underground will survive!

I'm always surprised how much material those hex nuts seem to able to
remove in stride, at least in alum.
Neat little block (with cooling fins and all), do you have any pics of
the finished engine?

The engine was actually oil cooled. The fins helped a little. This
engine was a prototype for the Honeywell MAV project. The spec was
tight, and it didn't quite get there.
The engine had to weigh <3.5Ibs produce 3.5bhp, and just happened to end
up 35cc. All those 3'a and 5's eh. It was also JP8 fueled. It's
BSFC was the tightest spec, and I forget what it had to be.
The later Boxer prototype was more successful. I didn't really get
that involved except for making the crankshaft and a fair bit of
programming. I left the company to concentrate on my own business just
as that one was being assembled. Though I still keep in touch with
them and call in every now and then.
