Oh, the patents are out there alright.

But note the patents have long since expired - anyone who wants to can
build one.
It wouldn't work any better than it worked in 1936 but there'd be no
legal impediment to building one.

They're taking deposits.

That pretty much validates my lack of faith in Popular Mechanics.
Their paid propaganda viewpoints on 9-11 make about as much
sense as their 1960's story on the 60 MPG carbureator.

George should have pulled US troops out of Saudi Arabia *before* 911
